An original story by Wolfgun, in the form of an ambient album, inspired by "A Field Guide to Identifying Unicorns by Sound", by Craig Conley. (more information below!)
Here I recount the details of my encounter with a unicorn, but not everything is as it seems.

about

Asked by author Craig Conley to produce an album based on his book "A Field Guide to Identifying Unicorns by Sound", I decided I would write and narrate a short story, using the book as a guide for its nature. All of the sounds in this album have been carefully programmed and played live on various synthesizers in order to construct an organic & surreal landscape through which this story can unfold. Every sound in each of these compositions has a meaning, and I encourage you to listen closely and with concentration - Perhaps you, too, will hear the call of a unicorn.

Now a kind word from Craig:

If you've ever felt unsure about unicorns, Wolfgun's audio journey Cineres will leave you skeptical of your own skepticism.

Not only does Cineres capture the sounds and voices of unicorns in a forest, it's like a master course in how to hear cryptozoological wildlife on your own.

You'll hear sounds on this album that you've never experienced in this world or any other. That aspect is in itself utterly priceless.

Inspired by the astonishing Field Guide to Identifying Unicorns By Sound, Wolfgun uses the book as a springboard to search for and establish further, indisputable proofs. Whether the awe-inspiring message he recorded is cautionary or hopeful will be up to the listener to judge.

Suffice it to say that Wolfgun's sonic adventure is unlike anything.
